Peer to Peer

This is collaborative learning of basic surgical skills, building up to a theoretical knowledge of more advanced techniques. The peer to peer model will be adopted so each student can research about their topic of interest.

-Why join the P2P project?

Improve your research skills, communication skills and surgical/medical knowledge while having fun with it!

-What do you have to do as a participant?

With a topic that really interests you, find an interesting way to present it to the group. We just wanna learn things that we care about without the stress.

-Final goals?

Basically we want to encourage each other to learn and understand medical things that we will not necessarily get the chance to during our Uni course but that are just as important. In this way we get to improve our background knowledge and skills that we will need as future doctors.

We would like also to offer the right environment and opportunity to expand our knowledge on procedures that we don't learn in enough detail during lectures (due to the limited amount of time).

The more we know the better!
